Core chat runs through models and services installed on your own computer. No cloud account or cloud inference is required for ordinary use.

Chat titles and message bodies are encrypted at rest in Pulp Free Chat’s local database. Web access remains off until you deliberately enable it for a chat.

Downloads, update checks, model downloads, and explicitly enabled web features do use the network. Pulp identifies those actions clearly with your consent.
