OrangeSun, LLC ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this Site, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and your rights. (This policy covers our website and store. A core part of our product philosophy is that our hardware runs local, on-device inference and does not send your usage data off-device; this policy concerns the website and purchase process, not device operation.)

2.1 Information we collect

  • Information you provide: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number, order and pre-order details, and any messages or content you send us.

  • Payment information: processed by our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

  • Automatically collected information: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and similar analytics data, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

2.2 Why and how we collect it

We collect this information to process and fulfill orders and pre-orders, communicate with you about your purchase, provide customer support, improve our Site and Products, send marketing communications where permitted, and comply with legal obligations. We collect it directly from you (when you order or contact us) and automatically (through cookies and analytics when you browse).

2.3 How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Process, fulfill, and deliver orders and pre-orders, and provide related updates (including pre-order delay notices);

  • Respond to inquiries and provide support;

  • Process refunds and cancellations;

  • Send marketing or campaign updates if you have opted in, and let you opt out at any time;

  • Detect and prevent fraud; and

  • Comply with legal and tax obligations.

2.4 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate (e.g., Squarespace as our website/commerce platform, our payment processor, shipping carriers, email and analytics providers), bound to use it only to provide their services;

  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights; and

  • A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Squarespace processes data on our behalf as our platform provider; see Squarespace's own privacy policy for how it handles data as a processor.

2.5 Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

2.6 Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, including fulfilling orders, meeting legal and tax obligations, and resolving disputes. Order and tax records may be retained for the periods required by law.

2.7 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and (for certain residents, such as in the EU/UK or California) additional rights regarding the sale or sharing of personal data and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.   • EU/UK visitors: Our lawful bases for processing include performing our contract with you (order fulfillment), your consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), and our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Site). You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

  • California residents: You may request disclosure, deletion, or correction of personal information and may opt out of "sale" or "sharing" as those terms are defined under California law. We do not sell personal information.

2.8 Cross-border transfers

If you are outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. We take steps to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable law.

2.9 Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
