Your AI. Your space.
Make room for something useful.
Daisy brings the computer and the AI software together. The goal is simple: spend more time using your AI, and less time building a system to run it.
A place for private conversations.
Explore ideas, work through questions, and draft with local AI. Keep the core conversation on hardware under your control.
Help with the work of your day.
Pulp’s planned agent workflows bring assistance to messages, calendars, and everyday tasks. Choose which services you connect.
Room to learn and create.
From explaining a difficult idea to trying different local models, Daisy is designed for curious people, families, and small teams.

Pulp inside. Framework inside.
A serious computer.
A simpler way to use it.
The planned Daisy build pairs a Framework Desktop mainboard with Orange Sun’s Pulp software in a dedicated enclosure.

Ownership changes the equation
Choose where your AI runs.
Cloud AI can be useful. Daisy gives you a local option you control.
| What matters | Cloud AI services | Daisy’s local AI |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | On a provider’s servers | On your Daisy |
| Core conversations | Sent to the service for processing | Processed locally |
| Ongoing usage | Free, subscription, or metered plans | No cloud inference fees for local models |
| Internet access | Typically required | Downloaded local models can work offline |
Online research, connected apps, and optional cloud models require internet access and may send data to those services. Electricity, internet, and any optional paid services are additional. Local and cloud model capabilities differ; savings depend on your usage.
Before you join
A few straight answers.
What does early-access status give me?
You’ll receive Daisy launch updates, demonstrations, and reservation instructions. Joining the email list does not guarantee a unit, an early-bird slot, or a price.
How will the $1 reservation work?
We plan to offer a separate $1 reservation step. Under the planned offer, you’ll also complete a short survey and confirm that you intend to back Daisy in the first 24 hours. Orange Sun will confirm eligible slots by email, up to the 25-slot limit. Full terms, including refund treatment, will be available before payment is enabled.
What will Daisy cost?
Planned pricing is $4,499 for 25 confirmed reservation early birds, $4,759 for the next 50 Kickstarter early birds, and $4,999 for the standard Kickstarter reward. These are planned prices, subject to confirmation before reservations open. Shipping eligibility, taxes, and delivery estimates will be stated in the campaign.
When does the Kickstarter launch?
We’re targeting October 20, 2026 for a 30-day campaign. The final date depends on prototype readiness and campaign approval. Join the list for the confirmed date and launch link.
Does everything stay offline?
Local model conversations can run on Daisy. Optional web research, email, calendar connections, and cloud models communicate with the services you choose. Initial downloads and updates also require internet access.
Can I try Pulp before buying Daisy?
Yes. Pulp Free Chat is available now for compatible Macs and Windows PCs. Daisy is the planned dedicated appliance; Pulp Free Chat lets you try local AI on a computer you already own.
Is this a purchase or a Kickstarter pledge?
This page collects interest ahead of the campaign. A separate reservation is not a purchase of Daisy and is not a Kickstarter pledge. To back the project, you’ll need to pledge on Kickstarter when it launches. The $100,000 campaign is planned as all-or-nothing, with production and delivery details disclosed on Kickstarter.
